To broaden its fintech products under Zoho Payments, SaaS startup Zoho has introduced its line of point-of-sale (POS) devices, which includes an all-in-one POS device, smart POS device, and static QR with soundbox. Sridhar Vembu, a co-founder of Zoho, made the announcement on X.
In order to tackle “real business challenges and strengthen India’s digital payments infrastructure”, Zoho has also teamed up with NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd (NBBL), a subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), Vembu continued. According to Vembu, the business is also working on integrating Zoho Pay with Arattai, its instant messaging app, so that payments may be made through the app.
Zoho Also Announces Pool of Payment Solutions
On the outskirts of today’s ongoing “Global Fintech Fest 2025” in Mumbai, Zoho also announced the availability of a variety of payment options, including payout capabilities, virtual accounts for collections, and marketplace settlements.
According to a statement from the firm, Zoho Payments now facilitates payouts, allowing companies who use Zoho Payroll to automate employee payroll procedures and make salary disbursements. Companies have a more dependable method of transferring money, can track payments made, and can pay salaries from any bank account with ease.
In February of last year, Zoho was granted final permission for a payment aggregator licence. After then, the business launched Zoho Payments, marking its entry into the payments market. At the time, Zoho said that companies could simplify their payment procedures by integrating Zoho Payments with its financial and operations apps, such as Zoho Books, Zoho Invoice, and Zoho Billing.
Zoho Strongly Backed by the Indian Government
The recent product introductions by Zoho coincide with a renewed interest in goods manufactured in India. Ashwini Vaishnaw, the minister of information technology, recently openly supported Zoho’s software package for official government work. In the meantime, Arattai has experienced a dramatic increase in downloads in recent weeks.
Additionally, Zoho launched a new sub-brand last week named Vani to provide “visual” workplace communication products driven by AI. Along with its extensive language model, the company unveiled a suite of AI tools in July to help organisations with automation, easy integration, and customised AI agents. In order to increase its robotics research and development skills, it also purchased the robotics firm Asimov Robotics earlier this year.

Below are the top email management and organising tools:
You’ve received multiple emails from various brands; for example, Swiggy sent you an email about its exciting offers on particular products. Yes, that is how company email marketing works! But how do you know if the recipient of your emails has opened them? Is it to their liking? Will they issue a call to action in response to the emails that you have sent? What if they are our business potential customers?
When you hit send bulk email, these questions appear in your head for the following minute. That is why email monitoring solutions were created to track emails in order to make business decisions.
What Is an Email Tracking Software?
Email tracking software is a tool that lets you know when someone opens your email and clicks on links inside it. It helps you understand how people interact with your emails. This way, you can see which emails work best and which don’t. Many businesses use it to improve their email campaigns and reach more customers. It works with popular email services like Gmail and Outlook, making it easy to track your messages.
How Does Email Tracking Work?
Email tracking tools work, whereby an input image embedded within the email is generally used by an email tracking system. This pixel is activated when your lead opens the email, providing you with information such as when it was viewed, from which device it was accessed, how many times the prospect opened your email, and so on.
This implies you now have real-time information about what occurred to your email, which can help you decide what to do next. You may think, that tracking a person’s email would be illegal, but guess what? No, it’s not! It is totally fine to track the recipient’s email only if you are working from the business’s perspective.
These email analytics tools are quite helpful for your business because they make things quicker as well as simple.

Most individuals, particularly in India, believe that a college degree is required to get employed by a company or to obtain a white-collar job. And yes, most employers do require a graduate degree, but this is not the case for all employers. There are still some businesses that are willing to give folks a chance. You can get the job with or without a degree if you have the enthusiasm and the correct mindset.
Many large firms, such as Apple and Google, are now recruiting people without degrees because they are searching for smart and bright individuals who can be turned into great assets for the company with the correct training and working experience.
College may be quite expensive and time-consuming for some of us, and when there are so many other ways to make money without going to college, why waste time on it? College is not for everyone. If you have the right skills, companies won’t mind hiring you, no matter what marks you have on your official papers.
There are many companies out there that don’t require a college degree to get hired. Instead, they focus on skills, experience, and potential. In this blog, we’ll explore some of the top companies that are leading the way in this trend and discuss why they believe that a degree is not always necessary for success in the workplace.
Top 15 Companies That Don’t Require a Degree – Google Office
The first company that comes to mind that requires no college degree is Google, as the founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin are both college dropouts who pursued their dream over their degrees and are now some of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.
Google is known for its innovative and forward-thinking approach to business, and this extends to its hiring practices. The tech giant no longer requires a college degree for many of their positions, instead focusing on skills and experience. For example, Google has launched a certificate program in IT Support, which teaches students the skills they need to be successful in entry-level IT support roles. Google has also stated that they value skills like problem-solving, communication, and leadership just as much as a college degree.
It is simple to get a job at Google, but keep in mind that the organization requires specific talents and work experience. Even if you don’t have a college degree or certificate, you won’t get hired if you don’t have the necessary skills. You must demonstrate to them that you can contribute to the company’s success.
Top 15 Companies That Don’t Require a Degree – Apple Office
As previously said, the majority of famous entrepreneurs were college dropouts who nevertheless succeeded. Steve Jobs is one of them. He was also a dropout from college, but that didn’t stop him from building a trillion-dollar business.

Apple has stated that they value skills like creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking just as much as a degree. It all boils down to training, as new employees are generally provided training before becoming fully-fledged workers at these big companies.
Top 15 Companies That Don’t Require a Degree – Netflix Office
Unlike the last two, Netflix’s founders, Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph, were not college dropouts, but Netflix, like other large corporations, hires employees who can execute the job and have the necessary skills, regardless of their educational background. Even if you have no college degree, there are still some job openings at Netflix that you can apply for and get the job if you have what they are looking for. Sridhar Vembu
Sridhar Vembu, Co-Founder and CEO of Zoho
Zoho Co-Founder and CEO Sridhar Vembu comes from a humble background. Sridhar was born as a farmer in a small village outside Thanjavur, but his dreams were big! He dreamt of studying in an IIT and then moving to the US, and he successfully seized his dreams.
Sridhar studied in a Tamil Medium Government School till the 10th standard and completed his graduation from IIT Madras in 1989. Sridhar eventually received a scholarship to pursue his Masters and Ph.D. in Electrical engineering from Princeton University in New Jersey. The founder of Zoho got his doctorate degree and opted for a professorship in Australia. He moved to Australia, but after 2 weeks, he came back, resigning from the job.
He started his career at Qualcomm in 1994. Two years later, in 1996, he kickstarted his own venture, AdventNet, with Tony Thomas, who is also an IIT Madras graduate and was an old friend of Sridhar. It was Tony, who wrote a rough draft of networking software and needed help to sell it when Sridhar joined him as the Chief Evangelist to form AdventNet, which later came to be known as Zoho in 2009.
Sridhar Vembu was awarded the Padma Shri, on the occasion of India’s 72nd Republic Day (2021). Sridhar is the 59th richest man in India, according to Forbes 2020. However, the founder billionaire, is known for his modest attitude and often loves to go barefoot. Sridhar once said in an interview, “I live fairly simply, I hate wearing shoes. If I can avoid it, I do.”
A moment of great honor and pride—the Government of India has bestowed the prestigious Padma Shri on our CEO, @svembu!
Zoho Co-Founder Tony Thomas worked at Bell Labs, before founding AdventNet. Sridhar and Tony both had similar interests in business and technology which led them to build their massive venture.
The amazing tale of Sridhar Vembu’s startup starts with his modest upbringing in a Tamil Nadu middle class family. He worked for two years at Qualcomm in San Diego after earning his degree in electrical engineering from IIT Madras in 1989 and going on to pursue a Ph.D. in the United States.
Many were shocked when Sridhar decided to bravely return to India despite the comforts of his life in the US. Driven by a visionary mindset, he and his brother co-founded AdventNet, a software development company, in 1996. Later on in 2009, this endeavor developed into the well-known Zoho Corporation.
Zoho’s mission is “empowering small businesses and startups, simplifying customer operations, and creating ever-lasting customer relationships.”
Zoho’s vision is to create superior software to solve all business problems. The company’s investment is more in developing its products and customer support than in focusing on sales and marketing.

On February 4, the leading SaaS company Zoho Corporation announced the launch of Zia Agents, Agent Studio, and Agent Marketplace, further expanding its own AI platform, Zia. Businesses will be able to access, create, and implement intelligent, self-governing digital agents throughout their organisations thanks to these new capabilities.
Pre-built, task-specific Zia Agents will be made available for preview by Zoho and its IT management business, ManageEngine, starting today. In the upcoming weeks, the firm plans to roll them out across its range of more than 100 products, according to a release.
“The pace of disruption and quality of innovation we are seeing in our industry right now has encouraged me to focus on my passion area, technology,” said Sridhar Vembu, co-founder and chief scientist of Zoho Corporation. “I will lead a number of extensive R&D projects for the company, starting with AI, and dedicate more time to practical technical work.”
He continued by saying that the brand would create strong and practical solutions that increase customer value while upholding our dedication to customer flexibility and data privacy by leveraging Zoho’s extensive engineering experience, its own data centres, and its shared data model.
Zoho Spreading its Wings
The company’s core AI, Zia, was introduced in 2015, and it allows for contextual and intelligent activities throughout its app ecosystem. Ask Zia, a system-wide conversational assistant that improved workflows by summarising interactions, evaluating trends, and automating activities, was introduced by Zoho in 2018.

At Kochanahalli in Mysuru, Karnataka’s first electronics manufacturing cluster will get an investment of INR 3,425.60 crore from Silectric Semiconductor Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, which was founded by Zoho’s directors and would generate 460 jobs. Under the direction of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, the 64th State High-Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) cleared nine applications totalling INR 9,823 crore across the state’s industrial sectors, which are anticipated to create INR 5,605 in employment. “A significant milestone for the state is the first semiconductor project in the electronics manufacturing cluster at Kochanahalli, Mysuru,” Siddaramaiah stated.
234 acres of land in Kochanahalli, close to Kadakola in Mysuru, have been set aside by the state government for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing cluster (EMC) facilities. Additionally, a new Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) policy is being planned by Karnataka.
State Selected 901 Acres of Land for Semiconductor Sector
For the semiconductor industry, the state has designated 901 acres of land spread among four industrial clusters. Karnataka’s Information Technology and Biotechnology Minister Priyank Kharge had previously announced the identification of a 224.5-acre cluster in Hubballi near Belur-Kotur, 245.67 acres in Kochanahalli in Mysuru, 218.20 acres in the Vasanthanarasapura Industrial Area in Tumakuru, and 213.14 acres in Hosahalli in Bengaluru Rural. Kharge, however, voiced reservations about luring semiconductor companies. In reference to Centre favouritism, he stated that although the state government had secured investments totalling INR 70,000 crore in the sector after touring several nations, a single phone call from New Delhi would compel them to invest in Gujarat.
Kharge’s worries had also been echoed by MB Patil, the State Minister for Large and Medium industries. According to Patil, a lot of businesses are investing in Gujarat since the Union government is providing 50% incentives on top of the 30% incentives provided by the state government, which means that businesses only have to pay 20% of the total cost. The state would be able to draw in investments in the semiconductor sector if Karnataka was given comparable incentives. “I have also brought this issue to the attention of the Union Minister of Heavy Industries, HD Kumaraswamy,” said Patil.
Other Upcoming Key Projects in Karnataka
Three new investments totalling INR 6,573.6 crore of the INR 9,823 crore in investments approved at the State High-Level Clearance Committee meeting have the potential to create 4,427 jobs: Sansera Engineering Limited (INR 2,150 crore investment, 3,500 jobs) at Harohalli; Silectric Semiconductor Manufacturing Private Limited (INR 3,425.6 crore investment, 460 jobs) in Mysuru; and DN Solutions India Private Limited (INR 998 crore investment, 467 jobs) at ITIR, Devanahalli. Furthermore, six investment proposals totalling INR 3,249.7 crore are now in the works and are anticipated to create 1,178 jobs.
A study was requested in the meantime about businesses that purchased land from the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) but do not begin operations within the allotted time. “Where necessary, fines will be imposed on such companies,” Patil stated. In order to address the issue of giving farmers a portion of the income from by-products, Patil also instructed sugar companies to look at the methods used in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
