Company Profile is an initiative by StartupTalky to publish verified information on different startups and organizations. The content in this post has been approved by the organization it is based on.

Just when we thought the hospitality industry couldn’t get any better and automized, Siddharth Goenka launched Aiosell Technologies in 2019. This venture is all about automated pricing & revenue management for hotels, combined with an all-in-one integrated hotel marketing platform.

The hotel industry is still using archaic systems with static prices and independent systems that do not integrate well with each other and leaves money on the table. Aiosell aims to solve the vision of maximizing revenues for the hotel industry, using automation, AI, and integrated technology systems. The owners of the Aiosell are hotel owners themselves, and hence this company was born out of a need in their own business. When they realized, there wasn’t a suitable alternative available in the market solving these issues, they decided to build a technology solution.

About Aiosell Technologies and how it works

The product of Aiosell uses several automation and AI algorithms to change prices in real-time to ensure the hotel gets the maximum business. When the demand is high, the price increases and vice versa. The system uses many other unique parameters to adjust these prices, including occupancy, demand, seasons, weekday, booking window, dates, etc.

The USP of the product is to use all these products in a very simple, easy to use method to automate dynamic pricing and simplify revenue management. The product also integrates all aspects of hotel marketing together to give a one-stop-shop marketing product for hotels.

The product started off using a simple pricing automation tool. Today, it includes all technology components of the hotel industry including Rate Shopper, Reviews Manager, Website & Booking Engine, Analytics & Reports, Travel Agent portal, etc. This pivot was made because the team realized that many hotels could not only use one aspect of hotel marketing, it needed to integrate all these aspects to give the best results.

Aiosell Technologies – How did it start?

“Since we were in the hospitality industry, this was a need that was glaringly visible in the industry. The industry was rapidly changing with an increase in internet bookings/smartphone usage and changing customer behavior.” Added Siddharth Goenka, owner of Aiosell Technologies.

They were first trying this idea out manually using excel sheets, and when they succeeded, the team decided to make an automated product around it. For one year, they ran the concept manually with a service-led model, and when they were confident of the benefits involved, they changed it to a product-based approach.

The initial people they spoke to were friends and family in the hotel industry, who were new to the online business and had not wrapped their heads around increasing their hotel revenues digitally.

AIOSELL – AIO means all in one, and also a pun on artificial intelligence ‘o’ttomation. The name and logo for this B2B company were formed based on some initial research and brand name availability.

    Aiosell Technologies – Startup Challenges

One major challenge that Aiosell faced was to convince a large chain of hotels to try and use the product. This was accomplished by offering them free trials and personal attention by the founder, Siddhart Goenka. It was also followed by ensuring all their requirements kept getting back into the product development cycle so that the customer was satisfied. Word of mouth references from happy customers is the most relevant marketing channel to grow the business.

Aiosell Technologies – Funding and Investors

In June 2019, Aisoell technologies raised an amount of INR 10,00,000 through an early stage self-funded round.

  • How to Do a Webinar Your Audience will Love

A webinar or simply web-based seminar is a great way to build your brand and promote a product you want to sell online. Webinars are educational webcasts streamed live on Internet to an audience. Although they first emerged as a remote learning tool, today webinars are widely used as powerful marketing tools. One can give presentations, perform product demonstrations and deliver world-wide messages to thousands of people at a time.

Online webinars help make communication with employees, prospects, partners and customers easy and efficient. Webinars combine HD video, integrated audio, live polls and more to engage audiences from anywhere. And if you create webinar content that is informative and memorable, you will get great results. Follow the best practices below on how to create a webinar to resonate with your audience.

Webinars can be hosted using a webinar software. Unfortunately,  many webinar software are quite expensive which includes popular software like BigMarker, GoToWebinar, AnyMeeting and ClickWebinar, etc. They charge about $30-$99/month based on the number of attendees and offer features like recordings, ads-free experience, and live support.

If apart from these paid software, there are some software offering free services. For instance, Google+ Hangouts on Air, Adobe Connect, Zoho Meeting are great free alternatives. With Google+ and its suite of features, one can start a hangout without any limits on your attendees, annoying ads. Due to ongoing lockdown, many companies have lowered the charges on paid webinar software.

    What is a Webinar?

A webinar (web + seminar) is a video workshop, video presentation or lecture hosted online, using a webinar software. Webinars are usually interactive, business-related online events can be used to share knowledge, ideas and updates virtually with people around the world.

Also, webinars can also be used to build and nurture relationships, build authority around a brand, or demonstrate a product. Web presentations and conferences are a highly interactive form of marketing which can be used as a relationship-building tactic. One can even use webinars for internal team meetings if they are part of a remote team. Thus, the possibilities are endless.

Planning a webinar is so much easier than organizing an actual physical seminar or lecture in real life. Mainly because you don’t need to have a big venue to host a large number of attendees. You can invite people from all around the globe, to meet in real-time. If they can’t participate live, you can record the webinar and send them the recording later.

Here are some steps to host a effective Webinar –

    Choose the Right Topic

First of all, think of what the purpose of your webinar will be. Choose a highly specific content idea that you can go into in great detail. This helps  focus on the topic and minimize the chance of going off track. Choosing a topic for a marketing presentation isn’t always as straightforward as it sounds as sometimes things don’t go the way you think they will. Make sure the topic will inform and motivate attendees.

If you’re looking for inspiration for your webinar’s content, you can run through your other content’s analytics to see what drives traffic to your site and what your audience is the most interested in. This step will definitely ensure a higher engagement. Remember to be precise. It helps people understand what they’re signing up for and knowledge they will get from the session.

Choose the Right Speakers & Team

Webinars need to be hosted by skilled, knowledgeable experts in their field. When selecting potential presenters for your webinar, ensure that whomever you choose knows the topic thoroughly and is knowledgeable & comfortable talking on-camera. The presenter must be prepared well to answer unexpected questions raised by participants.

Thus, while preparing for a webinar, one needs to pick a qualified presenter. Of course, your web seminar can have more than one presenter. Then, you can choose an assistant, who could admin the chat, take care of the technical side of your webinar and possibly answer some of the audience’s questions while the speaker continues with their presentation.

    Choose the Right Webinar Format

Planning is crucial If you want to construct an online seminar that’s engaging from start to finish. Before you start creating your presentation slides, you need to decide on the right format for your chosen topic. It could be an interview Q&A-style webinar with two speakers or a panel discussion with numerous guests. should inform your choice of format.

If you plan your webinar right, it should deliver on your promise and provide the perfect amount of content for your audience to absorb. One must take care of the content to present during the webinar with engaging slides, polls and handouts that will make a big difference.

The content throughout the webinar should be engaging enough to keep the participants until the end. It is advisable to always start by welcoming participants and ask them where they are joining you from and you will create instant engagement. Save some time in the end for a Q&A session. Mention it at the beginning so that the audience will have time to think through the questions they want to ask.

    Think about SEO and Promotion

After choosing a webinar with great content and knowledgeable speakers doesn’t mean people will be able to find it effortlessly. It’s not just the content that makes them register, it’s how you promote it. Once you’ve settled on an idea, think about whether your topic has solid search potential.

Create a landing page with the help of SEO with an invitation, that will encourage people to sign up and tell the audience everything they need to know beforehand. Also consider content promotion and how you’ll publicize your webinar. One can send the invitation link or promote it through social media channels or co-market with trusted partners.

In the e-mail, first, write a short copy explaining the topic. In a few pointers highlight what the participants will take away from it. Then, place a signup form where your leads will leave their name and email, and finish it off with a register button. Don’t forget to introduce the hosts. At last, highlight the date and time of your webinar.

    Choose the Right Webinar Platform

There are several webinar platforms to choose, with its own pros and cons. As mentioned earlier, some are paid while few are free. Some paid software includes popular software like BigMarker, GoToWebinar, AnyMeeting, ClickWebinar and Cisco Webex, etc.

There are some free software like Zoho Meetings, ON24, Google+ Hangout on Air, Adobe Connect, etc. But they come with some limited features. Choosing the right software depends on how you want to target the audience. It depends on the number of audience you expect, whether you want to share the screen or not and want to record the whole conference.

    Webinar Platforms
There are plenty of Webinar Platforms available

    Prepare the Studio Space

It is necessary to pay attention to the studio space where you plant to host webinar from. If you’re hosting your webinar from a home office, ensure that your kids, pets, neighbors won’t interfere or make any noise during the webinar.

Alternatively, if you’re running the webinar from your office, find a quiet room with a door where you won’t be disturbed. Keep your studio space clean and well organized. It is better to turn off your computer notifications, cell phone and anything else that could distract you or your audience during the webinar.

    Do a practice run

Even after setting up things, don’t assume that everything will go smoothly during the live webinar without testing your equipment first. Do at least one run-through several days before the live event to make sure that everyone knows what they’re doing, and that all your things are functioning correctly.

Experts say hardware such as mics must be checked regularly or the resulting audio may be tinny, distorted or faint, even if you have some decent hardware. Thus, by doing a test run using the webinar software or tool beforehand, make speakers comfortable with the webinar controls and make sure things go smoothly

How long should a Webinar be?

When you know the topic and purpose of your online seminar, it shouldn’t be hard to create an outline. In most cases, webinars last from 30 minutes to an hour. So, 60 minutes is enough time to have a 45 minute presentation and leave 15 minutes for answering questions the audience might ask throughout the webinar on in a designated Q&A session.

Though average webinar lasts about 40-60 minutes, the ‘usual’ webinar length isn’t set in stone. If you have well-structured content, that may take you over an hour to present if it is really appealing to audience.

  • Simple Intro Video Ideas To Make Your Videos More Engaging

Videos make the content user-friendly and create a better understanding, and today if estimates are to be believed, more than 1.5 billion users prefer watching a video over reading content. A company trying to build its audience cannot ignore a platform where videos have become more appealing. Videos source more significant traffic. If you want your business to grow, implementing strategies through video can help. To make sure the voice of your business reaches the mass at large, start leading through a video that procreates the ideas you cultivate in your organization, the ideas you want to share with your people, and the ideas that may inspire many to find a way into your business.

These days outro video design is a big thing. They mark the end of a video, usually with a music or end part of a song. But here in this article, we have laid out some of the fascinating ideas you can put to use to make introductory videos for your business.

    Ideas for creating intro videos

    Introduce Yourself

If you’re looking for ideas to create your first intro video, the best one is to introduce yourself, your business, and its goals. People like names with faces. So you can do it by introducing some of your employees or the ones working behind your business goals. Self-introduction videos are one of the most popular videos for beginners. They help the audience understand that although business is on a virtual platform, they still thrive on creating an original version and are not skeptical.

    Blogs and Blogs

If your business website has a separate section of blogs or content related to your business, a separate part where all the videos will be put on once they start releasing, you can also create a different video introducing and explaining those written content with graphics, physical representations, and charts. But make sure you don’t brainstorm these videos too much. Something simple attracts more audience because not everybody has the patience to hold onto a video and understand the deep-rooted meanings of compound words. When you share your content one by one right from the first blog, it helps your business to introduce its personality and gain worldview. This can be one of the most significant starting points to diversify your content as you move ahead in the journey.

    Feedback Video

This could be your third video, or maybe it can be put under the fourth number. Opinions, comments, feedback from your customer, put together into content, and explained in a video can help the audience understand how the rest of the world responds to your ideas. More often than not, response videos are seen as performance measures, and nobody talks much about them. This is where you put your creativity into play.

Don’t just pick up any comment or any feedback. Steam up your ideas and pick the right content for the right video. Remember, graphics are essential. If you are releasing this video throughout a couple of months, you might have well-received feedback from the majority of your customers. If not, conduct a short survey to gain some. Compile the content, put it in the form of statistical representation, and show how feedbacks have increased over time, given your consistent approach towards holding feedback as a significant response.

    Review Something

Right after the introductory video, you can share a review video for any of the products your business deals with. For example, suppose you are into the electronic market. In that case, you can probably engage your employees to create a review video for one of the best products that have gained maximum feedback. Discuss how the positive aspects of a product have left similar products in the market behind. Honest reviews gain a better audience than just putting up something for publicity. Again, do not exaggerate. Discuss it in simple words and give it a personal touch.

    Business Gossip

If its gossip to your benefit, be a part of it. Various platforms offer thoughtful discussions about products and features. Be a part of such platforms. You can add new ideas from expert reviews, learn ways to source traffic from leads, and can even share your website links for people to visit your content, video, and share feedback.

    Show It Off

The best way to earn traffic from a parallel source is to promote tools and equipment. For an intro video, you can talk about the devices you use to enhance your content, the cameras, microphones, and computer set up. Any piece of technology earns history. History is even better than the present. Talk about the features you wanted to teach, and what you have finally employed. Not only equipment, but you can also discuss the CMS and Host you have used to build a website.

    Final Thoughts

There are many more to add to the list. Product haul, speedrun, walkthrough, comparison videos, and much more. No matter what your content is, be careful. Make sure you are prepared. Once you start gaining traffic, viewers post questions and ask for recommendations. There is a chance the first video may not be exactly the way you want it. Nevertheless, you will eventually grow from it. Keep your potential. For further ideas, you can also check – www.videocreek.com/make/outro-maker.

    marketing strategy
    marketing strategy

Your web marketing strategy is the series of actions that you’ll take to help grow your company. You need to have everything figured out ahead of time, so you know what to do as each problem or issue arises.

You should have a firm understanding of all the following points before you ever spend a dime on marketing or start offering services of any kind. Let’s take a look.

What are you trying to accomplish?

First, what are you doing with your business? Are you trying to generate leads? Do you want to bring attention to something? Do you already have clients, but are trying to bring better results for them?

Whatever it is that you’re trying to do, you need to give it a name and stick with it. Your ultimate goal should be to achieve a business that satisfies you spiritually, emotionally, and financially.

Think about it this way. If you’re dating and you’re trying to find the perfect partner, you likely have a few traits in mind of your ideal person. Maybe you’re looking for someone with brown hair, blue eyes, with a career-focused mindset, who likes to spend time outdoors.

You need to do this with your business, Take note of all the things you want your business to do for your life and how you envision getting up and going to work every day. Once you’ve done that, under each point you made, figure out how you’ll get to the desired goal.

    Understand Your Audience

    startup marketing strategy
    startup marketing strategy

One of the most powerful things you can do is create a buyer persona. This person is your ideal customer or client, and they need to have an exhaustive description. You’ll have a solid understanding of who your audience is, what they like, and what motivates them to buy something.

When you create a buyer persona, you want to keep some of the following things in mind:

    • What motivates them?
    • What discourages them?
    • Pain points they might have.
    • Why are they here?
    • What excites them?
    • What exhausts them?

You can go on and on with this, but you want to be as comprehensive as possible. When you understand your buyer, you’ll have an easier time writing copy, crafting emails, and building funnels that appeal to that specific person.

Here’s an example of a buyer person named Supermom, “My buyer persona is a stay-at-home mom between the age of 25-35. She has two kids under the age of 10, and she values her health and the health of her family. She tries to eat healthily and cook quality meals every night, but between wrestling her kids, yoga classes, her kid’s soccer practices, and volunteering at the church; she’s left with little time at the end of the day.”

That buyer persona might work for a company that sells pre-packaged healthy meal plans that you can purchase a week ahead of time and plan into the week. It allows the mom to feed her family a healthy dinner, and she can always have one available when the day drags on longer than planned.

Understanding the steps of a funnel

    marketing strategy
    marketing strategy

In this section, let’s break down the four steps of every sales funnel. You’ll find a lot of variations, but these are the four primary steps you should always refer back to.

    • Awareness
    • Interest
    • Desire
    • Action

With Systeme.io, we focus on making it easy to create funnels using these four steps. Our funnel builder allows you to appeal to the psychological side of these steps.

Let’s work our way down from the top.

    Awareness

Here is where you are teaching people about your brand. You’re introducing them to your company but not trying to sell them something. A lot of businesses skip this step, and they wonder why they aren’t having success. Think of this as going up and introducing yourself to someone you’ve never met before.

    Interest

At this step of the funnel, the customer has seen your brand, and they are opening their ears to listen a little. They may even show that they’re interested in the company and they want to learn more about what you can do for them. Here is where you want to start preaching the benefits of your product or service.

    Desire

At the desired stage, the customer is now interested in doing business with you. They’ve decided that your product or service is useful and they want to purchase it. Now you don’t have to sell anymore, you need to provide them with the information they need to buy. Here is where upsells will occur as well.

    Action

Finally, the customer is taking action, and you might even be up selling them on something else. At this stage is where retargeting occurs as well. Many people, even though they seemed interested at first, will back out.

    Where are your buyers?

    marketing strategy
    marketing strategy

Okay, so now you know who your buyer is, and you have an awesome funnel that is bound to convert traffic. Now you need to get people into that funnel.

To do this, you need to find your buyers. Let’s go back to our buyer persona to do this. So, we have a stay-at-home mom who values her health, loves her family, does yoga, and is young enough to be on the cutting edge of technology.

Where do you think she might hang out online?

    • She might be on Pinterest, checking out design ideas for her home.
    • Maybe she’s on Facebook during her short period of free time when the kids are running around
    • Or she could be googling information about cheap and healthy weeknight recipes for children

If you’re trying to build a web marketing strategy around this buyer persona, you need to know where she is and what she is doing there. Understanding this will not only help you create the right ads and copy, but it will help with your funnel as well.

Remember that personalization is key with your sales funnel, so the individual needs to think that this funnel was explicitly made for them.

You hear it all the time on platforms like Click funnels; they talk about funnel hacking. With Systeme.io, we like to call it “customer research.”

It’s important to know where you find your audience because each platform has a different intent.

    • People on Google are usually there to find information or buy something
    • People on Facebook are there for entertainment
    • People on Youtube are often there for information or entertainment
    • People on Pinterest are there for ideas and inspiration.

    You get the point!

Have The Right Tools At Your Disposal

    marketing strategy

Your startup will perish if you don’t have the right web marketing strategy. But, in addition to strategy, you need the right platform to run your business. In 2020 and beyond, it’s essential that you have a highly functioning and well-converting sales funnel as well as the best landing pages.

You also need email marketing tools, customization options, a blog, a place to sell your stuff, and automation that take some of the grunt work out of your hands.

For that, you have two options.
You can scour the internet to find five or six different marketing platforms and see if they work well together.
Or, you could get a 14-day free trial of Systeme.io and get everything you need in one place.

Systeme.io provides easy to use funnel building tools, email marketing, automation, and more. Best of all, you can get started for free and take your business from a startup to wild success in no time.

Be sure to keep all the points outlined in this article in your mind while you’re building your funnel. Remember,

    • Know what you want to accomplish
    • Understand your audience and create a buyer persona
    • Build your funnel with the four steps in mind
    • Go where your buyers are
  • How to market your software product?

The competition in the digital world is immense because for each purpose you get several solutions (if not hundreds of it). It’s pretty hard to offer Internet users something new as they have seen pretty everything by now. Customization? Check. Many functions. Seen and tried.

Effective marketing — that is what decides how many “subscribe” or “purchase” clicks you get. Consider there several things to engage your target audience:

    • Good reviews from real clients (preferably someone they know);
    • Constant flow of information about software from different sources (burst campaign);
    • Practical: clear documentation and tutorials, customer support, constant updates, bugless experience;
    • Emotional: attractive website, interesting content, flawless communication;
    • Recommendation from celebrity and influencer.

All in all, the willingness to buy and use something (even if it’s specific software) happens because of the equation: emotional decision + rational justification. Here are some strategies you can use to boost the user’s emotions and call to their rational core. After all, if your product is good and nobody knows about it — what’s the point?

    Step 1. Writing content

To find the best software for, let’s say, time management, the first thing people do is google “the best software for time management”. Usually, they search the info on the first 2-3 pages (sometimes just on the first 5 search results). Content-making can help you here in two ways. First – Google Search Engines prioritize unique and relevant info. Second, if the users find what they were looking for on your landing page – they will visit other pages. If not – they leave and check another search result. Fill your website with valuable content so that people understand from the very first minutes: “wow, if they write so clearly about what they sell, they know what they are doing”.

    • Accurately describe your features and choose delivery tone understandable for your target audience. If you sell software to big enterprises to know the subject – use relevant terminology and show your expertise. If you sell it to the broader audience who may be not familiar with what you sell – be sure to explain the most important aspects in simple words.
    • Write articles in the blog. They may concern not only your product but also the industry you work in. If you sell a SaaS solution – write about SaaS economy or ways of optimizing CRM.
    • The more unique your content is the better conversion. The best thing would be to conduct your own surveys and analysis and comment upon the results.
    • Know the difference between trends and mainstream. Be sure to write about what’s popular, however, if the info spreads through every possible channel customers know, it will become meddling and repulsive. Trends – good. Mainstream – get rid of that.

    Step 2. Creating video content.

If you get to choose: would you rather read about the features of the software or watch a video about it? Yes, that’s what we’ve thought. You see, perceiving the info from videos is easier than from the text because you get it from two channels – audio and visual. You listen to the speaker explaining something to you and at the same time – see the examples or infographics. Also, just the picture of a person talking to you makes the flow of info more even. To present your target audience with all they have to know, including various types of video content:

    • Storytelling videos with some specific situation at the core and details of how you overcame difficulties. It should seem like a friend tells you a story of how he lost his phone and then his future wife found it and gave him back and that’s how they met – with interesting plot and unexpected ending.
    • The demo video shows the basic info about your product, stating the main features, advantages among other familiar solutions, and its main audience.
    • Tutoring videos may concern not only the explanation of how to use your software. If you sell messenger apps – tell how to enhance communication, taboos on workplace chatting, how to create your own stickers, and so on.
    • Fun videos. Yes, they turn out the most popular. Yes, you can use it even if you are a real-serious-enterprise-company. Screws up and pitfalls, confusing moments and unexpected situations – that always attracts because people can relate to your story.

Attach the videos to your website pages, create your Youtube channel, and share them on your Instagram, Facebook accounts.

    Step 3. Arranging ads

Where can you add some ads? First – Google, of course, because that’s the first place people are looking for software solutions. Integrate with Google ads and create your marketing campaigns there. Another solution – social media marketing. This will help you sell your software, however, only in the long-run. The primary aim of your Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest account should be an increasing awareness of your brand. Users may not need your product now, but they may in a few months or even years. If they were subscribed or just seen your ads from time to time, the name of your brand will exist in their subconsciousness. When they get to choose, they will go for you because you seem more familiar. So, add your ads on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram – places where most people are registered. The traditional means of advertising – on TV, billboards, and newspapers – are less effective nowadays. The best one remains the same for every time – a sincere recommendation from someone you know.

    Step 4. Testimonials and recommendations

The broader your target audience is, the better chance the integration with influencers and celebrities will work. Most people trust them and want to be like them, consciously or subconsciously. Thus, if they recommend your software, you can get the sales instantly. However, if your users are large companies and specific industries, not separate customers, you will need to show how strong your client base is. Celebrities have less influence here. Clients’ testimonials increase trust and show that everything you say about yourself in your ads, videos, and articles is true. The testimonial can be written in your client’s blog or be filmed as a video.

However, what matters the most is your software’s quality. Even the most sophisticated marketing strategies won’t work if you sell a reinvented wheel. If you feel that you need help with that – be sure to contact the SapientPro development team.
